Our mission is to provide an enjoyable, accessible space for residents to grow healthy food using organic, sustainable, and environmental friendly methods.

Who is the OPCG?

The Overland Park Community Garden is governed by a volunteer board of directors who have an interest in bringing an organic community garden to Overland Park.   

What is the OPCG?

• The Overland Park Community Garden is a non-profit Kansas Corporation.

• It has been designated as a 501(c)(3) entity by the IRS.
  • The 501(c)(3) designation provides our donors a tax deduction for their charitable donations.
  • It allows the corporation to apply for grant funding.

Where & When is the OPCG?

The OPCG Board of Directors typically meets on the first Tuesday evening of each month in one of the meeting rooms at one of the Johnson County Libraries.
